Native Texan PC is about helping people and doing the best possible job for them. Whether it's a troubleshooting problem for a small business, tracking down the cause of a bizarre error message, finding the correct type of memory for the best price, or any number of issues with a Windows based computer, our policy is to give 110% and do THE BEST POSSIBLE JOB hands down.

Hello, I'm Native, and my driving purpose is to help others. In the past I've been taken by a bad mechanic, lousy computer tech, even a bad dentist and oral surgeon. These experiences have created a very strong desire to help others avoid such mishaps/frustration/stress/and pain. Personally, I believe that when you have some light/understanding/knowledge, then you're responsible to share that with others to help keep them from going thru the same nightmares. And that is who I am and what I want my site to represent and convey.

I started working on computers in the 90s, and love the challenge. Each machine is as unique as it's owner, and should be viewed that way.

I was brought up to treat other people (and their things) the way that I want myself and mine to be treated. That is exactly how I run this business. At Native Texan PC we work for you as though it were on our own machines--we give the same 110% and expect it from all those that we collaborate with.

I'm extremely dissatisfied by the majority of what I've seen in the Technicians in my area. I've had to go in behind goofballs too many times and clean up their messes, witnessed deceit too often, to feel good about my competition here in my area. There are very few that this company will work with or recommend.

I've been planning this site for some time. It will be huge as time goes by, because there is a LOT of varied content that I plan to provide for my peeps.

I'm very blessed to have a large network of friends across the globe. Many are professional people that collaborate/contribute/and work with me frequently on a variety of projects. You'll meet several of them on the pages here as time goes by.

I recently had the pleasure of finding the "Texas Native PC Repair Company" when I was in dire need of assistance to fix my old, outdated Acer laptop. I am not a complete novice so I was able to upgrade the RAM on my computer and replace the hard drive - myself.  This is where I got into real problems.  I replaced the old Acer 30GB hard drive with a new WD 200GB drive.  Then, I transferred all the data from my old hard drive to the new one.  Simple - right?  No way!  Dumb mistake number one.  Changing out a hard drive is not that easy since the factory hard drive (from any manufacturer) contains "partitions!" The partitions separate the operating system and manufacturers programs from the rest of the hard drive.  Then, a final partition is placed at the end of the hard drive's capacity - in my case, Acer put one at the end of the 30GB drive. Therefore, when I replaced my hard drive with the new WD drive, I ended up with two partitions.  This prevented me from changing operating systems when the new system was larger than the original.  It also limited me to about 20GB of free space to store my programs and files. Through a lot of messing around, I was able to put a name to the 150GB part of the drive and it became drive "E." This is enough to make you crazy because I had to pull up drive "E" whenever I wanted to save anything. That's when I contacted the Native Texan (NT) for help.  Since I had messed around with the operating system on my laptop, it too was messed up.  Also, since I'm local, NT made an appointment to come to my house and fix my laptop. NT was right on time and immediately got to work fixing the stupid stuff I had done to my laptop. NT removed the partitions that had plagued my laptop, ran special deep cleaning and anti-virus/spy ware programs to ensure my laptop was clean. Then NT ran special diagnostics to ensure my entire laptop system was in proper working order.

In conclusion, all I have to say is: THANK GOD FOR AN HONEST, INTELLIGENT, HARD WORKING, ECONOMICAL, PC REPAIR COMPANY!  NATIVE TEXAN PC REPAIR IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!
